Cancer Telethon: The Loch Murray Dancers appeared in the 2010 Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation Telethon of Hope which was broadcast live from St. Laurent Centre on Sunday, January 17, 2010 on /A\ in Ottawa. Play the video on our Home Page to view the performance.

Tartan Tea Pictures have been added to the Photo Gallery. This was mainly an event for the Highland dancers and we mostly have pictures of the Irish dancers. We'd love to get some photos of the Highland dancers. If you have pictures of this or any other Loch Murray event to add to the photo gallery please email them to us by clicking here.

Congratulations to our own Loch Murray dancer and teacher, Miss Kelsey Campbell who danced against 70 other dancers from around the world and won a place in the top 20 in Cowal, Dunoon, Scotland. Kelsey placed 5th runner-up (6th place) in the World Championships against competitors from New Zealand, Australia, the U.S., Canada and Scotland. Kelsey placed 3rd runner up in the British Commonwealth Games. Official results can be seen at toeandheel.com.

Charities

As a school Loch Murray supports mutiple charities and causes. It manages to do this mostly by promoting the cause at dance outs. These get a lot of attention and have been aired on the television. By supporting these causes students and teachers at Loch Murray can always feel a sense of pride and accomplishment when they think of the good they have done to help the lives of others.
