Cancer Telethon: The Loch Murray Dancers appeared in the 2010 Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation Telethon of Hope which was broadcast live from St. Laurent Centre on Sunday, January 17, 2010 on /A\ in Ottawa. Play the video on our Home Page to view the performance.

Tartan Tea Pictures have been added to the Photo Gallery. This was mainly an event for the Highland dancers and we mostly have pictures of the Irish dancers. We'd love to get some photos of the Highland dancers. If you have pictures of this or any other Loch Murray event to add to the photo gallery please email them to us by clicking here.

Congratulations to our own Loch Murray dancer and teacher, Miss Kelsey Campbell who danced against 70 other dancers from around the world and won a place in the top 20 in Cowal, Dunoon, Scotland. Kelsey placed 5th runner-up (6th place) in the World Championships against competitors from New Zealand, Australia, the U.S., Canada and Scotland. Kelsey placed 3rd runner up in the British Commonwealth Games. Official results can be seen at toeandheel.com.

The Loch Murray Dancers are a competitive and performing troupe of Highland and Irish Dancers.

A number of senior dancers with Member or Associate qualifications teach and/or assist for an excellent teacher/student ratio. Both B.A.T.D. and S.D.T.A. medal exams are offered for students - beginners to senior Championship level. Teacher training is available.

In addition to being a competitive school Loch Murray is also a very charitable school and likes to give back to the community. Loch Murray supports multiple charities by fundraising, dancing out at events, and raising awareness.
